5052 aluminum rod is an AL Mg series anti rust aluminum with the following characteristics:

High strength, especially with fatigue resistance.

High plasticity and corrosion resistance, cannot be strengthened through heat treatment. During semi cold work hardening, its plasticity is still good; But during cold work hardening, its plasticity is lower. It has good corrosion resistance and good weldability, but poor machinability and can be polished.

Mainly used in situations that require high plasticity and good weldability, such as low load parts working in liquid or gas media, such as mailboxes, gasoline or lubricating oil pipes, various liquid containers, and other small load parts made by deep drawing. Wire can be used to make rivets.
