The ASTM A615 steel bar is designed to enhance the tensile strength of concrete, making it suitable for both primary and secondary reinforcement. It effectively absorbs stress and weight, ensuring even distribution of tension caused by the expansion and contraction of concrete. The steel bar features a rough, blue-grey finish with raised ribs along its length. ASTM A615 grade 75 steel bar provides a minimum yield strength of 75,000 pounds per square inch and includes a continuous line system, with one line running along the length of the bar, offset by at least five spaces from the center. These characteristics make grade 75 steel bar particularly well-suited for heavy-duty concrete reinforcement applications.
